Detox and Colon Cleansing

How To Do A Colonic

Colonic irrigation becomes very easy if done at home. Many people respect privacy and do not want others to interfere while getting into this process. One should be clear about the concept and method of it. To start with, create a private space either in a spacious bathroom or on a well-deaped floor or bed. You should be away from all kinds of interruptions. Make sure that you turn off the phone, light candles, burn incense, lock the dog out etc. The best time to carry out this process is while going to bed. Fill an enema bag with approximately two quarts of filtered water. The water should be 101-103 degrees. Hang the enema bag 16'' above the rectum. You may also drape it over raised knees if lying on your back. The enema tip should be lubricated well and drill an extra hole through the end. Insert the enema tip in to the rectum and let the water flow in to the colon gently for about 15 minutes. You may massage the abdomen counterclockwise to make the water move deeper into the colon. This process cleanses out the last 16-18 inches of colon and also hydrates the body.

This process can be carried out in three different ways:
a) Knee chest position with buttock in the air
b) In left lateral side position
c) On the back with knees up and together, feet apart

Use disposable latex gloves. The enema bag and tip should be rinsed with a 10% solution of bleach. Don't share your enema bag with anyone.
